Image
FORMING YOUR CHILDREN’S CONSCIENCE About our drink: Released in 2013, Balvenie’s Single Barrel First Fill was matured in first-fill bourbon casks for at least 12 years before bottling. These are limited edition bottlings, with each bottle being one of no more than 300 drawn from a single cask. Each is also hand-numbered and labelled with the cask reference number. A deliciously creamy, vanilla-rich whisky from Balvenie. Nose: Toasted, sweet nose with all kinds of charred oak and spice. Hints of maple syrup and allspice, a little vanilla and sweet coffee. Palate: A complex, thick palate with allspice and toffee apples. Cooked fruit and baking spices, hints of sponge cake and creamy caramel. Finish: Long finish with lingering sweetness and spice. Overall: An intense whisky with lots of influence from the cask. Great value for money too. About our gear: You’ve probably suffered from soggy boots after stepping into puddles of water. 12 year St. Bridget Devotion About our drink: We are pleased to announce the 2019 annual release of our Càirdeas series, Càirdeas Triple Wood Cask Strength. This exclusive bottling celebrates the Friends of Laphroaig and marks the annual Feis Ile festival on Islay. The unique expression is a special triple maturation, first matured in ex-bourbon barrels, then in quarter casks and finally in European oak casks which previously held oloroso sherry. It is then barrier filtered and bottled at cask strength to create a punchy dram with Laphroaig’s signature richness of flavour and smoky taste. Friends Only On Islay there is a saying; We don’t make friends easily but the ones we do are for life. Launched in 1994, Friends of Laphroaig are fans, friends and followers of our distillery from all over the world. Never short of an opinion or two they help Laphroaig explore new expressions, attend tastings and sometimes even visit the distillery at Laphroaig’s home o

Adoration – The history and what to do during the time. About our drink: Yamato was created by Aiko Importers after contacting one of the largest distilleries in the Yamanshi Prefecture and learning of excess barrels of Japanese Whisky that had not been assigned to a market and could be acquired. Aiko, under Japanses authority, was able to contract for this whisky, and developed the Yamato label to be bottled exclusively as a Small Batch Japanese Whisky. This whisky is a blend of malted barley Scotch whisky and selected Japanese grain that was grown in the Yamanashi Prefecture. The cold winters and fiery summers gives a rich flavour quality to the grain. The unique geographical location allows the whisky an intense maturation period, thereby losing a considerable amount as the “angel’s share”. To maintain the products natural character it is non-chill filtered. It is a blend of 3-8 year old whiskies aged in Mizunara Oak barrels. Official Nose: Distinctly confident liquo

Improv Homeschooling About our drink: Japanese whiskey is one of five significant varieties in the world along with Scotch, Irish, Canadian, and American whiskeys. Sensi Whiskey hails from Yamanahsi Prefecture, the birthplace of Japanese Whiskey. A harmonious blend of malt and grain. It ages to perfection in Mizunara (Japenese Oak) barrels. Mizunara barrels give Sensi its distinctive flavor. It reminds some of sandalwood, a precious ingredient in Oriental incense used for aromatherapy, meditation, and spiritual ceremonies. To others, the taste will suggest a faint hint of coconut. So, we fused together rare whiskey, finest malt whiskeys from the rest of the world, and the highest quality pure spring water from Japan to create this remarkable blend. Find out more here .
